This original ink illustration is part of the "Miktober 2020 Challenge", a drawing event that is held during October.
"Catrina" is inspired by Mexican artisans in Michoacan, specifically the ones who make the traditional Catrina sculptures for Day of the Dead.
The illustration will be part of an illustrated book about Mexican folklore.
